First let's go to the credits, I would like to thank the people here on the forum, without your publications I would never have been able to do something like this, such an advanced cut on the PS2 board is something really impressive.

In this laptop I decided to put 8 2800 mAh cells, but they are used cells that I already had stored here so they were not at their peak, and it is lasting an average of 4 hours of gaming, which for me is already something quite considerable since I don't even have one. time to play all this time, Carcaça is the best known as Frankcase, as I don't have a 3d printer so I have to find my way, I had a PS4 controller with a dead board, and I wanted to make a different laptop, as it is a homemade video game I don't have many files on it, everything I have I'm posting here.

I hope you like the result because I haven't seen this model anywhere yet, and I liked it so much here in the city where I live, I've already received several offers on it, but it's my favorite, I can't sell it .

Thank you very much I'm working on two other shells also made in PVC, I think they're going to be very good, I've improved my skills with PVC a lot since the first console which was quite grotesque, this topic is my second since it, I'm already on the 6th or 7th project, but I'm working on these two and then I'll make a topic for them, one of them I intend to do in the PS Portal model and the second I want to leave with a thickness of 2.5 cm. Yes, these days it's much easier with 3D printers, but as I don't have one I have to look for alternative solutions, and Franken-casing just requires a little more work, but if you're whimsical it's very good

Olá a todos, tudo bem? uma pequena atualização sobre este Ps2.P, infelizmente houve um pequeno acidente com ele, coloquei-o para carregar na mesa e fui trabalhar quando voltei minha esposa não tinha visto e tropeçou nos fios e o console caiu no chão, tudo dentro estava solto devido à queda, refiz algumas conexões e felizmente não houve problemas nem com a placa nem com a tela, mas o gabinete já estava rachado, então ao invés de tentar consertar este, decidi fazer um novo, pois este é antigo e o acabamento interno é horrível, vou deixar algumas fotos do novo eu fazendo isso me digam o que vocês acham?

Hello everyone, how are you? I'm here bringing an update to this topic about how the Playstation 2 Portable made with a Playstation 4 controller is turning out, I believe this will be the cleanest Franken-Casing you'll see today, following some photos of the project.

I had thought about making it to support a total of 8 battery cells, but as you will see later on, I ended up opting to put only 6 cells.

It will also have an internal 250GB SSD, which I will be able to access through USB port 2.

It will also have a micro memory card slot to play games via SD card.

In this part I had already finished the painting, and I had also finished applying the varnish.

As previously mentioned, a small accident happened with the first model in this topic, in this case this would be the V2 model, so here are some comparison photos between the analogues and adaptation of the old buttons and new models.

This will be the set of cells used in the laptop, these are new, unlike the old one.

At the moment it looks like this, it's taking longer than expected as I only have time to work on it at night, but I really like the result comparing the first version with it, in my opinion it looks very clean despite everything being done by hand.

I'm sorry you're stuck with that composite video lcd controller, but I don't think there's an easy solution for the PS2 to enable even s-video playback. Regardless your project looks pretty awesome, you should thank your wife for betatesting the last version

Hello everyone, I came to bring a small update on this topic, I ended up having some problems assembling the console, one of them was the internal SSD which, because I was using a SATA adapter, was getting hotter than the video game itself, and the connection to the computer Accessing it internally was complicated because it didn't appear in any way on the computer, so I decided to remove it and leave just the pen drive and the link to the SD Card, but I had already left two USB ports, so I decided to leave both ports functional. number 1 and number 2 the same on the original console, another problem was the paint and varnish, both of which I used were in spray form as I was just doing tests as I had never used them, and I ended up getting screwed as they are of very poor quality, and now when I play for more than 10 minutes on it sticks to the hand, so I'll have to redo the painting all over again, this time with good quality paint...

Another modification I had to make was changing the speakers, these notebook speakers were working, but after a while they were on, they got hot and kept failing, so I decided to make the change.


I'm going to leave here a video of it already working, but I hadn't removed the internal SSD yet, so it was giving some glitches, but you can see what the result turned out to be, which isn't the final one yet as I'm going to have to paint
