Pineapple goes well with certain ingredients on pizza, I don't think I'd pay for a pizza with solely pineapple on it though.

imho pineapple is way to sweet to fit the other mostly salted ingredients.
For me it has it's place in the jungle, fruit salad but not on my pizza

I’ve never had it but if you had a super salty and rich pizza then a sweet and acidic pineapple would even it out. It works in theory but I’ve never had it.
