Question Pi3 + smb not work

I can't connect smb between my raspberry pi+ and ps2 and I have connected the dots. as shown in both pictures
If it's not disturbing Please give me some advice. Thank you.

Testing with pi 3 with another device is smb functional? If you haven't tested it, I think it's important to test even if it's via wifi. Regarding the PS2, here this connection only worked by connecting the power pin. However. I don't remember if what time it is

Would you be able to post a few pics of your wiring, on the pi and the PS2? The pi 3 is finiky and that diagram worked for Gman I believe on the PS2 razer but it was a 3b+. Also what pi are you using?

This wouldn’t work, at least unreliably.

you need to keep one Ethernet port. Since Ethernet ports have internal circuitry containing some transformers and some things for the signals, you basically removed that whole circuitry.
