Solved My Wii trim won’t give any signal

You gotta be 100% sure there's no bridges, 97% is not enough. Check Nold's resistances guide and compare with your's. Remove all cables soldered to the wii and check resistances following the chart. Also check for redundant components on the edges of the board that might be partially broken after trimming (except the capacitor next to the nand, of course).
Will do thankyou!

I checked there are no bridges and no losse components on edges I am definitely sure they are not the problem do you have any other ideas?

did you check the resistances of all your voltage line to gound and to each other as well? other than that, your wiring is a big questionmark still. try to get clear detailed photos and we might spot something.

Give me a moment

The voltages are fine for this current trim and the one before that, my original trim Wii resistances are messed up so at least 2 of my trims should be working 100%fine here are some good pictures I hope

Couple of things I see over there:
1) On the PMS, the button GND cable seems to be shorting CHRG to ground.
2) The pms itself looks a bit like a mess, there's cold soldering everywhere and missing pads where the BTN pad should be.
3) some people reported instability booting with one cell so try 2.
4) on the wii there's also cold soldering everywhere, I strongly suggest you practice your soldering skills on a scrap board. What soldering iron do you have? can you adjust the temperature on it? if you can, you might need to crank it up a bit. If you can't you should get one that has that feature.
5) check that U10 works... It should be sending 3.3v when you turn it on.
6) you mention the *voltages* are fine but what about the resistances to ground and to themselves? can you post your actual measurements? did you find the thread I was talking about?

I’ve now made sure there is no cold soldering on the pms and Wii by adding some more solder also the u10 does give a 3.3v signal because I haven’t even touched it and it was working completely fine before I trimmed. The button pad still works fine it’s not bridging and I fixed the charge pad to ground bridging so there was is no issue there I can’t remember my exact resistances but it was nolds resistance guide something like that and yes they were all fine but the Wii still doesn’t boot

Ok I used another one of my wii Trims and it boots!!!! I am overjoyed, you were right about the cold joints I think, im not really sure why it didn’t work before but I really appreciate your help loads thankyou!
