Question Mkwii mods on portables

One of my favorite games to play on my wii is MKWii and its mods. I mainly play the CTGPR mod and would love to play it on my ashida once its done, but I realize that it relies on having an mkwii disk inserted. Obviously, you cant do this on a portable, so I was wondering if theres any way to get mods like this on a portable.

wiimfi has been done I believe, but so far I don't know of anyone who has successfully bypassed the current CTGP-R disc requirement. You can play the older version that is ISO compatible, but that's it afaik unless you wire in a FFC connector to run the disc drive externally for setup and updates.

Ok, what about the riivolution mkwii mods like mkwdx and retro rewind?

Some Riivolution mods can be packed into an ISO/WBFS by the ISO tool, but not all work. You'd have to try and find out.
