I broke one of the ribbon cables on the 3.5" vga lcd screen i bought is there any replacement ones I can find? Also, are there components I can take off such as those white connectors? And for future reference, will the bitbuilt store ever sell these seperate from the G-boy kit?

The future of the store is unknown at this point. If it is to ever return, there will be an announcement for it.

As for the screen, you might be able to save it if you carefully scrape off the kapton on both sides of the break and run some magnet wire to bridge the gap. What you snapped is (I think) the voltage supply for the backlight, so it's not really sensitive to rewiring.

And yeah, you can remove the white JST connectors and solder straight to the pads.
