GC2.0+ seems to have a malfunction. How can I troubleshoot it?
After testing the PSV2000 joystick without success, I tried reconnecting the SWITCH joystick for control. However, I found they also malfunctioned, only responding when I pressed down on the joystick connector with my finger. So, with doubts in mind, I conducted a thorough test. I used a wire connected to GND to touch the solder points to simulate button presses.

I found that when powered on, the left joystick constantly trembled.

When I connected GND to CX and CY, it triggered both joysticks.

When I connected GND to SX and SY, it only affected the right joystick.

Additionally, when GND touched L, it also triggered both joysticks.

The other solder points tested normally.
I copied the GC2.0+ onto a board that includes the power supply, MX chip, and USB card reader. I have compared it repeatedly and it seems there are no errors or missing connections and components in my replication. https://bitbuilt.net/forums/index.php?threads/gc-2-0-documentation.3228/
I am confused about why the joystick isn’t working properly and why there is this cross-reaction.

Being that you have a custom setup, detailed pictures are absolutely necessary for anyone to be able to help you.
Have you tried holding X+Y+A while powering up the system to reset the sticks to their defaults? I've had a similar issue where moving one stick would digitally move both, and they would only move in one direction. Resetting them fixed it for me.

Thank you very much for your response, my friend. I combined the GC2.0+ with a USB card reader and a PD power source into one board without making other modifications. After flashing the firmware, I started testing and encountered this issue.

I will try the reset method you mentioned.
Should I hold down these three buttons when powering on the Wii? I haven't soldered the buttons yet, so I will try to connect them using jumper wires.

Worth noting, you need two joysticks wired in for them to work correctly

You are amazing, my friend! !!!
The problem that has been bothering me for almost a month was easily solved because of your advice! I am so excited that I can hardly contain myself.:XD::XD::XD: Although the joystick in the Wii still cannot be pushed to the edge (even with the dead zone set to 0, it's still difficult), this is a huge step forward!
