Is it possible to use the GC+ 2.0 to build a switch controller? I was thinking that I could build a controller using it that connects wirelessly to the switch, but I'm not sure if it's possible.

Not really, unless you're connecting it through one of the smash usb gc adapters... But at that point, it's just a gamecube controller

Wow, that's amazing! But, I don't actually have a gamecube controller lying around, and I'm not sure if it offers full compatability(all inputs that a switch joycon/pro controller would have), which is a must for me. I might try buying a pro controller pcb and adding my own components. Thanks anyway though!

Does the GC+ 2.0 have any way of supporting clicky sticks? If it does, I have a way of getting this to work.

No, because the GameCube, which the GC+ is made for, doesn’t support it.

I’ve considered using Shanks work on the GameCube Joycons to achieve this too. The best way IMO is to modify the Bluecube firmware to add extra buttons.
