Question Does AVE work with every version of the Wii motherboard?

Yeah the AVE chips are universal. You can transplant an AVE from any Wii into any other Wii, with the possible exception of the Wii Mini. I don't remember what the Wii Mini's AVE is, but 6 layer Wiis, 4 layer Wiis, and Family Edition Wiis all use the same AVE
