Hi it’s my first time posting but I have a pretty big and probably difficult ask. I want to put the components and features of the gamesir g7 pro into the body of the classic Xbox 360 controller while keeping the exact body, weight, look and feel of the Xbox 360 controller but for my series x (outside of the necessary back buttons that need to be installed) including the original sticks, face buttons, and bumpers/triggers of the 360 remote. If it’s not possible please tell me and why because i wouldn’t mind moving some stuff around to make it work but i would love to keep it as close as possible to the original.

I briefly looked into a similar kind of project, take the SOM from an Xbox Series controller and install it onto a board that fits in a 360 controller.
It becomes difficult when you start to look at the amount of usable board space that isn't blocked by the shell:

It looks like there's some space on the back, but you also need to consider the trigger brackets, battery geometry, and top/bottom ports.

To make a custom controller board that fits in the stock 360 controller shell, you almost definitely need to go for a custom design board with a microcontroller directly soldered, or maybe a very small SOM.

The controller you're interested in doesn't seem like it lends itself well to something like this.
Things might get easier as you modify the shell, strip back controller features, etc.

It'd be very cool to overcome those hurdles! Best of luck!
