Cherrii
After many failed 3d prints, shoulder button iterations, late night soldering sessions, and VGA debugging, I have finally finished my first wii portable. The main goal was to create a portable that was somewhat compact, while still maintaining full size gamecube buttons, plently of features, and decent ergonomics. The portable case is printed is printed in dark cherry red PLA from Atomic filament, with only very minor sanding on some rough parts.
Final Feature List:
The internals have changed slightly since this photo was taken, but I'll update this photo if I open it up again.
Thank you to everyone on the forums who shared their work, and everyone on the discord who answered questions, I couldn't have done any of this without you guys and the magnificent wii trimming guide and compendium.
I have registered for the summer competition, and although I am not very confident that my project will be finished by the deadline, I am working on something with the PS2.
Thanks again, and have a great day!
