Solved best joystick for portable?

Hi,
I see most portable use 3ds slider as joystick . Is there any reason for this choice ? Which joystick do you recommend and why?
Sorry for the many questions , I am new and buying parts for my first portable.

I think 3ds slider and joycon joystick are the best because they dont take up a lot of space in the case.

you could use any joystick you would like, its personal preference, but space savings in a portable is always nice, some people dont like the 3ds sliders since they dont really work like a real joystick, so the switch sticks are good alternatives

ok thanks, since I am using a WiiU gamepad as a case , I think I'll usea WiiU joystick
