Hello all,

I finished my Ashida build after some issues with a faulty pms lite.

console works fine, Rvloader 1.6 starts and I am able to go thru all menus.
Currently I have 4 gamecube games installed:

mario kart dd
Mario sunshine
Metroid
Super smash bros.

The issue I have is that I can play Mario kart DD 9 out of 10 without an issue.
But now my issue.
Mario Sunshine and Metroid, I have only audio and the screen goes back to blue.
Super smash bros does not seems to do anything, screen goes black

Does someone know what I need to do or check?
With audio and no video I guess something goes wrong with the VGA output

Thank you in advance

Rick

Update:

installed Rvloader 2.0 (no difference)
Re-did usb wires on wii (no difference)
cleaned my SD card Pms pd3 (no difference)

also now mario kart doesn’t give video, only audio
I guess it switches back to component.

All input is welcome :D

Try changing to the different Video Modes. Put the cursor on the game that you want to play, don’t hit the A button. Instead hit the B button to bring up a advanced menu.
I have the same problem with my unit. Once I turn my unit on, I have to press one of the face buttons in order for the screen to kick in.

Yeah some games require you to hit A when they reach the video mode selection screen even if you have RVLoader set to force 480p

Thanks for the reply.

it does seem to help with Mario kart and Super smash.
Still not able te get video when playing Mario sunshine (i have audio) for some reason.

Did not try metroid with all settings, but for now no video and audio

Are these the PAL versions of the games? I remember reports of PAL Sunshine being funky sometimes

I tried some usa versions. They work fine

thanks for the feedback

I figured out how to change to screen settings.
