Question Aftermarket Iron Tips

Are aftermarket iron tips any good i got this set for my hakko fx888dx and there's a noticeable difference especially with length the top tip is the original one and the 1 below it is the aftermarket one
question is are they any good or should get a actual hakko tips im curious if anyone actual uses these

Genuine ones and/or tips from comparable name brands are better than the cheapo ones, but not by a huge margin. The tip is just a bit of metal heated by the element in the iron handle. The major differences are longevity and how snugly the tip fits against the element.

For hobby usage either is fine so long as you take care of the tips. I have a $10 set that have lasted me for 4 years
