[2025 Contest Entry] Summer Contest 2025-The WIIRTOP,a wii in a bartop(arcade cabinet)

Hey guys,too much time passed since the last update,so it's time to remedy that.
I have a lot of news,but first,I can say I offically finish the softxzre part and I'm happy with it .
The 3d parts are finish and I change the ashida screen to the good old dalian 4 inch screen(thanks @jefflongo for the 3d models).The final version on the Wiirtop looks so crazy now

I've made some changes especially on the speakers front part (who is now symetric lol)and do some little changes on basically all the parts.They look like this now:

I also finish all my pcb,big thanks to @Xenii who helped me a lot(another time)with them

I finally add the 1player switch to play with a GC controller or with the buttons on the Wiirtop

And the best for the end...

Another time,huge thanks to Xenii who told me how to fix all the errors(trust me,there were a lot).With his advices,I will get my board without a risk of fire,and this is a good thing
I aslo get out other experimental parts and my good old miss trimm

I'm ordering the PCBs and hope I will get them soon,stay alert!
One last thing,I will probably not finish it for the deadline because it's expensive for me and I'm still a teenager(don't have work lol)but I will do my best.

Hey everyone,tim for an update,it's actually 11p.m in my country and I need to sleep,so it will be quick
Well,I finally place my order with Jlcpcb after checking everthing was ok on the pcbs,and trust me,it's veeeeerrrrryyy long .I choose DHL Express because I don't want to take risks and get tricked like @Redherring32.

They should arrive soon,I kept everybody informed,stay alert

Hey all,the pcbs are finally here and they looks fantastic.I also almost finish the 3d printed prototype before the final print,and the two looks pretty good .

Now,@Gman enter the compétition and launch his worklog,it would be super hard but I promise I will do my best to finish on the podium

Thanks @Gman for your encouragements.I know print every part of the Wiirtop,the last one just came up today and it's looking pretty goo

I also decided tonmove to a 4.3 inch screen which is wider and easiest to find.You Can see the difference,it's not that big,but it's definitly not the same

Here is the Wiirtoo looks now(it's looks more crazy than before )

I even done some soldering on the pcbs,since 3 months I didn't touch the iron solder,it's looking pretty well (guess it's like the bike,you can't forgot it when you know how to do)

I still some adjustments on the back of the Wiirtop because some things are not fiting like I want,but it's not something too hard so that's ok

Also,I just want to share that I won't finish the wiirtop before the deadline because I don't have all the components(I defintly need more money lol)but I will put it as a complètes project for enter the voting,so vote for it even it's just a block of 3d printed plastic

Hey guys,last day before the comp end,I wish good luck to everyone!
I finally improve my shoulder buttons system now,it works pretty well

And I also made a video which is pretty garbage and terrible,but,hey,it does the job.Also sorry in advance for all the native american and people who speak english, because since 2 months I haven't practice my accent
So,I let you here with my video and see you for the results!
