I want to build a wii portable and want to use 3ds analog sticks. Do I just use the caps? Or do I somehow replace the analog stick on the gamecube with it. If yes, how do I do it?
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

(Sorry to remove all context from this thread but coming back to this forum, to put it simply... I'm embarrassed to leave such a stupid question up, especially with the backlash it got. Start fresh and all that).
Hello, I'm new to making portables and would like to make a portable gamecube (Using a Wii motherboard). I plan to use the SD slot for the wii to load games, but i also want the satisfaction and option of inserting a real gamecube disc. Is it possible for me to connect a gamecube disc drive to a...
Well I finally trimmed and got a board to boot for an N64 so I figured might as well enter the competition and make a forum post.
Specs:

Uamp Audio
3d Printed case(Transparent Ice Blue)
This is a basic layout on...

I have come up with a cheap, quick, and easy portable that I would like to "make". I say "make" because it actually is already made, I am simply modifying it. I found a Q*bert mini arcade game at a thrift store for a couple bucks, and I played around with it for...
I am trying to start my first project to make a portable, and I was wondering if using a WiiU gamepad as a case would be a good idea. It would allow a lot of room for error and I was wondering if there would be a way to use the pieces already inside like the battery, speakers, and IR bar.
I started work on my first portable a few weeks ago and one dead board later I finally have a setup that boots to portabilize-me post-trim.
Currently using 4x pth08080wad regulators to power the system and I've left the AV socket on for now to help with testing. I do have an RVL PMS coming so I...
Hey folks! I've spent a lot of time reading all of the guides/material/videos and I think I'm ready to get started! My current BOM is looking something like:
Buy from BB: Audio Amp, PMS, Dual Tacts, GC+
Buy From other: 5" Screen, Speakers, Headphone Jack, Power Jack, Fan, Heatsink, Switch...
I know I've asked quite a bit of questions however, I was wondering about how much power a portable Wii would consume with a 5 inch (diagonally) screen with everything else usually in a portable like a Wii and fan etc.
Soon, from now to summer, I plan to build my Wii Portable. It will have a 4.3" av Screen, video out through HDMI (for compatibility), GameCube buttons/ L and R, 3ds sliders, Sterio speakers and 3.5mm jack (using UAmp), 4 GameCube controller inputs, USB C charging, USB A game data and more...
I feel like it's about time I start a worklog, I've been putting it off for a bit.
I've gotten almost all of the parts I need, i'm just missing the case and audio amp (sort of).
I recently trimmed my Wii and relocated bluetooth/A10 (i'll attach photos)
Theres a few things i'm unsure of,
I...

Hey! So I checked out the wii trimming guide and have a general idea of how to make a wii portable (looked at a work log) but some forums about the specifics of certain parts of the process (mainly wiring and where everything connects to) would be useful as I have very little electronic...
Hello everyone,
I've been using bitbuild for a long time to familiarize myself with the modding scene, i made a couple of projects before using raspberry pi before but decided not to make a big deal out of it since it's fairly common. lately I've been working on a playstation one portable since...
Is it possible to make a wii portable without using custom regulators?
So i found out its hard to buy the custom regulators here in the Philippines and its expensive to buy outside the country. So is there a possible way to power it? Like the ps2 standard trim voltage relocation
