The cabinet is made by my father, the Subwoofer (10" Transmission-line that goes all the way doooown to 20Hz :D) is build in combination with him.
My front boxes (not in picture) are also self-build - I love Music & this soundsystem supplies the Reggae/Dub-Vibes I need for this project ;-)
Normally, I'm not the guy criticizing other people builds. But since this is "the ultimate portable" I think it's just appropriate to say some things i recognized watching your video.
First of all, as I'm a tech-guy, so lets have a look at the internals...
IDK if I need to say anything...
The E14 Website is a total piece of crap..
"Nold" is already taken
Registered, got the email, but can't login
Tried "Reset Password" but it failed with an error message <.< ...
....using public fake account...
Profit!
I just can't wait to see the SSWiit in action! >.<
not really.. i basically just made it worse :D removed the whole nand again, rewired it - but it's not working ATM... Oh.. And a day after removing the nand out of all the epoxy, i found out that the NAND was working fine in the first place... it was just a faulty/cheap usb-stick - :D RIP
But...
Hope you guys are hungry... prepare your eyes for this tasty bird <3
Besides, this was my first NAND-bend, that didn't work on the first try ;-) A really frustrating experience :D
Removed it completely & soldered it back in - now it's working..
The more interesting part about this board of...
Could you post the output of "cat /etc/network/interfaces"? (Are you using raspian?)
You could also try run "sudo dhclient -v" to obtain a ipv4 address.
Also your syntax is wrong, remove the red subnet-part:
ssh -6 pi@####::####:####:####:#####/##
Even if there are many strange things about your portable (DD, Memorycart, ...) , i still really like it's look. Especially because you didn't have much time to put this together, it's pretty impressive as you really put a lot inside!
Can't wait to see an improved BB-Version of it ;-)
Yea, as said above, i replaced the two onboard regs, too. You'll find more infos in the DC Trimming guide.
Also you can't (/shouldn't) use a PTH080808 for 3.3v without replacing the onboard regs, too. Cause it'll draw to much current otherwise.
Uhh.. that's the essence, yea! Well, I've found some pretty decent hinges, originally for an Asus eee pc:
Think they'll do the job. Don't know how to design around them exactly yet, but we'll see :)
Also another wii arrived today & I lamo'ed it in about 6 hours as you can see here...
Nothing fancy, but had a good run today and made my nicest / thinnest nand bends yet. (In only about 5~6 hours from arrival off the post man :XD:)
[don't be confused by the many resistors on the LDO, needed them for the omega]
LMAO Maximo!
Just making it official now, it took me days to find a name for this project (Thanks @JacksonS for taking the name WiiSP, without even building a clam-shell :P)..
Planned Specs:
- Wii: LM420
- Controller: GC+ (Thanks @Aurelio & @BocuD )
- DS Slider, Speakers & Buttons
- Display: 5" 4:3...
