Results should be out later today, as far as I'm aware. We wanted to give some extra time for people to vote, so voting ended on the 8th. It takes some time to compile the results and get the winner thread made, so please be patient! :D
We need your submission video to be published and at the very least unlisted so that staff can review it. Afterwards you can change it to public whenever you want.
You have until November 1st, 2024 at 11:59PM EST to have your submission video, final submission worklog thread post w/ the video in it, and the worklog thread marked as "Completed". Please do not pull a Stitches and record your submission video with 15mins left untill the deadline, for your own...
Thanks for the clarification! I did see you talking about these cells earlier, but wasn't sure if we had any concrete evidence on the capacity claims. I'll have to give them a shot as well!
I would be wary about the capacity claims of these cells. We've talked about them before on the Discord server, but so far nobody has tried them to my knowledge. Feel free to try them and let us know if they are in fact legitimate in their claimed capacity!
I would triple check the RVK-01 Compendium first to make sure there isn't anything important on the other layers, but I very much doubt it, should be able to enlarge the holes without issue.
Hey everyone!
There's so many amazing projects floating around on the forums, and so many talented individuals contribute to our amazing community every day. This question popped into my head, and I thought it'd be a great to make a thread for everyone to share what you think your greatest...
Please reupload your image and video in this post to the forums and YouTube respectively. Imgur is not an approved video host, and we only allow images to be uploaded directly to the forums for archival reasons. Thanks!
On PU-18, the 5V rail is generated by stepping down the 7.5V rail through a 7805 voltage regulator. This 7805 only has an output capacity of 500mA, and is normally powering the video DAC. ElectronAnalog draws 300mA on average on its own, so combined with the video DAC you might be overloading...
To further build on this & explain why your HDRetrovision cables work, those include an internal RGB to YPbPr transcoder inside the cable, hence why it seems like you can get component video out of the PS1.
In order to set the ElectronAnalog to accept RGB, you'll need to bridge a jumper with a...
What I would do is check for signal integrity from the composite output leg of the AVE all the way to the AV port. I would use the compendium &/or the trim guide to help you to trace out the composite video signal, and then use a multimeter to test along the way to make sure there isn't any...
I'm absolutely in love with what you came up with here, and I definitely have to build one! I think with some careful rearranging, you might be able to fit an extra one of those LiPo cells in, and definitely could slim the body a bit further by replacing those aluminum electrolytics with...
Small update for everyone: I have not heard from polprzewodnikowy at all in regards to his issues with the project as it currently stands. I do feel like we may have gotten off on the wrong foot, but I am going to go ahead and continue as planned, but take some extra considerations for some of...
Please do not use external file sharing hosts, they are against forum rules as we want all images uploaded to the forums for preservation reasons.
Regardless, I'll forward this to the rest of the team to see if its something on the site's end or something else that I'm missing. We were hit with...
I wouldn't say it's a practical device by any means, mostly just a cool ass project to push the limits of what we can do with the Wii. To answer your questions though:
1. Wiimotes are off the table seems like. I somehow doubt theres enough room for a Bluetooth relocation, plus this is basically...
