    PS2 Ultra Slim

Is shipping expensive for you on the ElectronAnaolgs where you live. I noticed recent y the price on then has dropped from $18.99usd to $15.99USD other than shipping that is a good price on them. I think they work really well.

It is safe to conclude that since we are taking the analog signal from the same contacts the AV cable uses, and the component output to your LCD display looks fine, your wiring is correct. The adapter is the problem.

One thing I noticed. I know your clone board is "working" but the real ElectronAnalogs will not work from power here. It cannot provide what is needed (directly from ElectronShepard support). Use 5v from the USB power rail. Maybe with this clone its the same scenario. Maybe check the voltage...

How does the video look from the original AV port? Do you have a way to test? I know some newer televisions don't have component inputs anymore and I am assuming that why you are asking here?

Question Help needed with my PS2 Ultra Slim Mod

The component that is getting hot is the resettable fuse on the 3.3V rail. You have something putting a heavy load (high-impedance short) somewhere on your 3.3V rail. This is quite possibly caused by the shorting visible in the screenshot from your microscope. Also, your 9V supply to the...

I feel like it would be helpful for the community to standardize the naming of these different types of builds. One possible way to think about it is that “Super Slim” or “Mini Slim” could refer primarily to shell and/or motherboard modifications based around the original plastic housing...

Great job! that is a neat little console. I love this! because what you just described is the modder experience. Every modder starts with frustration, mess, wasted time, and that “I hate this” moment. What modder hasn’t fought pinouts, soldered something backward, fried a board, burned their...

yeah, the "Super Slims" or "Mini Slims", I like those. I'm in the process of building one now myself too. I plan on documenting the shell cuts and maybe create another work log here on Bituilt.

This was next to the cover on my work log, lol! Oops, I forgot to add this part, lol! I can’t take credit for this diagram and I did not create it; however, this is what I referenced. Whomever made it — thank you!! You need to provide EVER_+8.5V to the SW board for the common on the resistors...
