  1. Worklog Getting the DSi bootroms

Something I've been working on lately, figured I'd post my progress. Introduction: The DSi and 3DS share many things, one of those is their protecting half of the bootrom on each main processor (of which there are two in each console). Initially upon boot, the bootroms are readable and...
  2. Worklog PPR

Just found this... Gotta say, that's some damn fine work, can't wait to see the final result!
  3. A very MerWii Christmas

How did I miss this post? I'm really not sure... Anyway, this is all awesome! Can't wait for all of this stuff to come out :) :O now I have to wait to find out... Well played, Shockslayer, well played...
  4. Worklog Bluetooth module replacement

I know it's probably less powerful, but maybe an AVR with USB support could help? Cool project, hope it works out
  5. Ghosts SSWiiT Revitalized

You've had me curious with what that thing is... Hopefully you'll let us know soon
  6. Worklog Noah's Wiiner

I'd say check your edge sanding, check for shorts to ground on the voltage lines as well
  7. Worklog RIIIIIP

Solder melts higher than 400 °F, iirc, or if it is melted, it's super sluggish at that temp and will be not optimal for taking things off of a board with...
  8. Worklog RIIIIIP

    You're getting Celsius and Fahrenheit mixed up... 700 °F is 371.111 °C
  9. another regulator

Hmm.... This is odd, I do see that on the page now, but at the top it says: These high-current step-down (buck) regulators generate a fixed 5 V output from input voltages up to 38 V. Note the word "fixed" which generally means you can't change it
  10. another regulator

If you take a look at the specs sheet here: https://www.pololu.com/product/2866/specs You'll see that it's also a fixed output voltage of 5v
  11. another regulator

The main problem with this one is the output voltage is fixed. On the TI regs, the output voltage can be adjusted... Might be useful for some 5v and 3.3v rails though. Nice find
  12. Worklog Noah's Wiiner

Can't wait to see more ;D
  13. Question Powering the wii

keep in mind, you want to completely separate the connector + cable from the power brick; putting the battery voltage through the brick probably won't give you any results (not implying you did that, but just in case you did :) )
  14. Wii Micro

I think I saw the concept for this on your photobucket (I was lurking through pictures, heh)
  15. Discussion Trimming Further

crazy idea... remake the whole board as a flex, then we can just bend the flex to our designs (jk, ofc)
  16. Ghosts SSWiiT Revitalized

    :P
  17. Ghosts SSWiiT Revitalized

    It's a joke >.>
  18. Discussion WiiSearch and Development

Yeah, true... still, cool everything works, keep it up :)
  19. Discussion WiiSearch and Development

Lol, interesting... I bet it wouldn't be too hard to simply stub the check (have the function always return the "normal" value, something to look into @Aurelio)
  20. Solved Trimming further beyond

Sure, I was just on mobile and wanted a quick look at the images, I knew some of them were in the super thread so I was trying to find them there.
