For the screen, I would recommend getting a different one, I also have that one, it works if you sit directly in front but for the rest the viewing angles are absolute thrash, buydisplay might have some cheaper options / better screens imo

I think it's in the trimming guide too but if it's enameled magnet wire you have to burn it off on the ends before you can use it. I personally have also been using it for keeping cable together because it's really Tiny so you can make small knots

you could use any joystick you would like, its personal preference, but space savings in a portable is always nice, some people dont like the 3ds sliders since they dont really work like a real joystick, so the switch sticks are good alternatives
