I've got two updates for this thread:
The first update is to do with international shipping. I recently had a customer in Canada that I needed to ship to. Shipping via UPS would've been around $70 while shipping via the U.S. Postal Service ended up being just over $40. Shipping internationally has always been expensive, but it has gone up slightly due to certain conflicts going on in the world. I'll still be offering my services internationally, just be aware that shipping internationally isn't getting any cheaper, and as a customer, you would be expected to pay shipping.
The second thing would be two recent commissions I had:
The first is this Louii shell that was requested:
This was my first time getting to print a shell in a nice light blue like this! Very pleased with how this one turned out! I might need to print something for myself using the leftover filament from this sometime down the road!
Next we have this G-Wii rev 2.2 commission:
This one was really striking to me! My customer wanted a GameCube indigo colored/themed G-Wii shell, and it came out beautifully! They wanted the back to have a GameCube logo printed in and I was happy to deliver!
Since this was based off Wesk's rev 2 remix, the screen bezel and joystick nubs got printed separately
My customer was fond of Wesk's color choice for nubs and screen bezel, so I tried to recreate them here:
Finally, I took this picture wanting to show my customer what the trigger buttons would look like. I didn't have R trigger printed yet, so I used the L trigger as a mockup:
I thought this shot was very pleasing to the eye though!
A few years back, I commissioned
@Gman to print a shell very much like this one for me. I ended up ruining the shell while experimenting with ways to get a smooth finish and get scratches from sanding out of it. This shell didn't use Wesk's remix which made sanding the front half not viable. I might try to recreate this shell sometime with the Wesk remix since that'd let me get the finish I was going for. It's kind of a shame really, I had such a smooth and beautiful finish on the back of that shell before it got messed up.
A bunch of people have asked me what filament I used for this, so I'll go ahead and link it here:
