Hey :-),
I need some help again with my ashida. If my fan is set to min fan speed between 155 and 160 it just clicks and make mechanical sounds but do not move, if I set it higher it works but make coil sounds while spinning, wich makes it really bad to play. At full speed it's fine. Do someone know what's the issue? I use the OD3510-05LLB 5V DC fan. Everything is put together and wired up correctly to idk what's wrong. :-(

This is normal for this kind of fan. You can try to find a balanced speed setting where it is not as noisy.

thanks for the reply, are there any better known fans that are silent?
There was an ashida variant that could fit the noctua fan I'm not sure if it was made available for download or not. That's basically the holy grail fan and it even moved more air which kept it the coolest and quietest.

ok, so that means, that there is no chance for my model to change the fan?

It's a standard sized fan so you might have luck trying other fans that are the same dimensions but I do not know any improved part numbers off hand

Here a video with the new fan: MF35100V2-1000U-S99

New min speed: 16
New max speed: 180

Way better, this is for everyone who got the same problem like me :-)
