Gboy Rev 3 Upgrade to 480p screen with diagram

Hey guys, I just think about upgrading the 240p screen to the ips 480p screen. I use VGA wiring on mine. Does it work plug and play like the diagram I have here now or is something wrong on my diagram? Or do I need to do some changes inside the wii settings before I put in the new screen+driver board. Because I removed the BT board, so I can't go back inside the wii menu. Is all worth it the extra work and the 70$ extra or is it not worth it? Which keyboard I need to change input from hdmi to vga, because I can't find one on AliExpress.

Diagram looks fine, just know that H and V are flipped from what you have labeled there. You shouldn't need to change any Wii settings. This screen automatically switches between HDMI and VGA depending on what signals it receives, so you don't need a separate controller board just for that. Whether or not it's worth the money is tough to say, but that screen is fantastic. Don't think you'll be disappointed.

thank you, ordered one screen set right now for 70$, I give feedback after I received it, I will change the r,g,b cables for shielded ones too :-) Now it's time to wait about two weeks I flipped H and V on my diagram

Progressive output suddenly glitched out on me whilst playing super Mario eclipse. Interlaced works perfectly. What could be the problem?

you can go to the discord server and ask inside the tech help group of super Mario Eclipse. It has some issues witch glitches also on wii console via TV. So it could be a game issue. They already work on an update.

I'm having said issue on my gboy portable. It no longer outputs progesive anywhere; including rvl loader menu and other games.

Do you have pictures of your wiring?

If it's a wiring issue, wouldn't interlaced also be glitchy? It's worth noting that progressive worked perfectly before.

yes I'm thinking about an setting error, maybe driver board issue.
