Question USB MUX?

I'm looking for information on how usb multiplexers work. I have a wii micro I made that I would like to incorporate internal storage into. I'm basically wanting a system like how the ashida and the G-Boy work but I don't need charging or anything special as the console isn't a portable. I just need a way to access my internal usb stick without having to take the case apart over and over again. I bought a few TS3USB221 multiplexers but I believe they work in the opposite way of what I want. I think they connect 2 drives to a single source like a usb hub does but for only 2 usb devices. I need a way for the wii motherboard and the type-C port I have mounted on the side of my micro to access the usb drive depending on what is getting power. Any help would be appreciated as this seems to be a very niche issue and finding any sources of how to accomplish this are almost non-existant.
 
Huh... might have to try out another chip then, luckily I ordered 3. I can only get mine to recognize in the usb "hub mode" wiring. Would you happen to know what the S and OE pads do on this as well? I figured they were jumpers for what needed to be enabled as they are beside ground but any configuration I use isn't working correctly

The datasheet has all the answers you need. S allows you to select which port to connect to D+/D- (low/GND for port 1, high/Vcc for port 2). OE is the Output Enable, connect it to ground to enable to chip

Thanks for clearing that up! I think I was just being dumb and rushing it and possibly looking at the wrong datasheet...
