Need help to fix this

The Component2HDMI and VGA2HDMI from Electron Shepherd actually works

but the problem is, my screen auto turns ON and OFF almost every 3 seconds in an Eyoyo Motherboard as shown in the video.

Do you have any ideas on how to fix this?

Perhaps maybe a resistor, capacitor or etc. and where to solder if you know something about this.

Thanks for the answer! :D

Going to need to see wiring, or it's impossible to theorise

When you do get this going I'm interested to see if the resulting HDMI image is letterboxed like in the other analog to HDMI converters :D

The power is connected on the regulator of the PS2 which outputs 5v.

It's connected from the right leg of the regulator to the 5v of the HDMI.

So the total connections are:

* 5v
* RGB from PS2 to RGB/YPbPr of the Electron Shepherd HDMI
* Ground

In my previous PS2HDMI, it's actually working. Not a single problem encountered.

Since the parcel arrive yesterday, I'm excited to test it and see the difference between a PS2HDMI and a Component2HDMI/VGA2HDMI from Electron Shepherd.

Sadly, the product of Electron Shepherd auto turns on and off the eyoyo screen. Not possible for now for a portable, if this is the final outcome of this.
Hmmmm. Is your screen also running off the 5v line? It could be that the Component2HDMI is drawing too much power and browning out the 5v line. You could try powering it with a separate 5v reg and see if it does the same thing

Also, I'm confused as to why you're using the Component2HDMI when the Eyoyo accepts component video natively

i also have an eyoyo,i want use its ypbpr to connect wii,the hdmi and vga is good ,but ypbpr is strange and not clear,i think it is the problem of sharpness,but no place to change it ???

I've seen others used only 12 out of 19 pins on PS2HDMI

Can you guys tell me what are the 7 pins that I could disregard on PS2HDMI?

You can't really disregard any if you want it to work properly. You could drop the shield lines and HEAC, but it's not really worth it
