Post your workstation!

Unfortunately I don't have an intergalactic spaceship... unless you count my Start Trek models. :D

My computer desk doubles as my "work from home" area but I use both back and forth. They are in a constant state of "Work in Progress" in the case of organization but they work pretty good for now. Since my music studio is full of equipment, (drums, guitar/amps, the MacPro w/interface, etc.) I'm setup in the bedroom for now so it can get kinda cramped, I hope to get some kind of garage workshop in the future but that will be awhile. :)

I've got a great spot right in front of the circuit breakers. It's purely a workstation with no computers or anything, just a TV for testing stuff. This is the cleanest it's been in months.

I have...

My office workstation - where all my non magic happens!!!

My wife's workstation when I've been in my office for too long, at the outdoor pool.

And my video game man cave, where I spend most hours playing these amazing things we all love. While my wife hangs at her workstation.

Oh to be a nerd with a wife who just doesn't understand <3

The newest addition to my workstation and my first fully "finished" project!! I call it the "FrankenDell"... at least that's what it felt like while I was putting it together, lol!! It was a fun, useful and quick project that will hang on my wall so I can have a bigger screen for testing as I'm building different portables. It will also come in handy to hook up to my PC and throw schematics and such over so I don't have to keep moving back and forth from my PC desk to my work bench. :)

Normal Old 15.4" Dell Laptop Screen:

Add hot glue, a drill, some of my cats insulin syringe caps to use as standoffs, a $2 picture hanging kit and the "FrankenDell" is born. :)

1280x800 resolution with onboard VGA, DVI, HDMI and Audio amp. I have the VGA run hooked up to a Composite to VGA converter box so I can test through the different stages of the building process. This will come in really handy while playing with my Wii... >:):awesome:

Nothing really new to you guys I'm sure but hey, it's the first project that I've had the time to actually finish so I'm proud of it!! :). Total cost was like $30 but I do plan on spending a bit and making a nicer looking case for it in the future... maybe. I kinda like it this way. :)

I'm just starting so this is my set up...I have been looking at all the forums and thank you everyone for all you do for this site!

I cleaned up my workstation just for this thread! Talk about motivation! :XD:

...and here's the small but nonetheless depressing console graveyard. I don't even know what happened to the Dreamcast. It bit the dust after spending the winter in a box in the garage.

That setup looks pretty dope, however I see no soldering iron ( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°)
My cheapo soldering iron is inside that drawer I built into the desk..I would like a better one..I haven't really done any trimming or connecting to the Wii because I'm looking into what would be the best one for me to get... I really need to get a smaller tip ..any suggestions?

Here is mine, when it's cleaned up :D ATM It's a mess :D

Oh.. and I've finally got an oscilloscope now & a better lamp :)

Nice, also does that happen to be top and vim in screen or tmux? Either way nice arch linux :P
Also totally jealous of the tower of mini drawers, I've only got one and it's not full...
