The only conncetion between gamecube and myself is just one nintendo commercial catalog. there was a purple gamecube and gba on it.
i really wanted to have one when i was a kid so i looked at catalog so many times

i used to play my cousin's megadrive, my frined's ps1 a lot. but there was no nintendo memory in my childhood.
i guess that's why i am so obsessed with nintendo stuff.

then i saw shank's piiwii pocket youtube video few years ago, it was so freakin awesome i wanted to make one for mine but i just add to watch later instead of make one.
but now i decide make for my own.

my wii portable design is based on shank's piiwii pocket(obviously)
same sl57 enclosure but 5mm thicker(based on polycase sl-57p 3d cad file, jeff's assortment of various 3d model files)

spec's gonna be.
- SLS Nylon PA 12 3d printing case(black dying)
- 3.5" TFT Composite, VGA Display
- 2x 18650 battery
- original gamecube buttons, 3ds slider
- 2x stereo speaker(sp-1511s-3)
- usb c charging port
- 3.5mm stereo jack
- 2x usb a port
- sandisk 64gb usb stick
- dualshock 3 shoulder buttons
- rubber cap tact switch for most button contact
- dual action tact switch for analog feedback trigger button
- 35x35x10mm cooling fan, heatsink and m.2 copper plate
- RVL-PMS, U-AMP, GC+ 2.0 board (open source file)
- 2x custom design button pcb
- OMGWTF Trimmed wii motherboard
- analog volume wheel

so far i'm making case design, BOM now. so it's very early process
and i set the maximum price under $230

yea i'm copying piiwii pocket design too much but i like it's form factor and this is the reason why i'm making this
maybe i will make my own design on my next project.

is someone has experience with sls pa-12 material?
seems perfect for me but i've never seen before the actual look

The SLS texture is similar-ish to the texture of a stock SL57 case.

It's a very durable material. Well suited for this kind of handheld

yes durable and textured surface is the key but it's a shame the minimum engraving width and deep is 0.8~1mm
