It's finally time for me to start my first workload. I am making a portable n64 that I feel is unique and a challenge for me. My plan is to design a single board that includes the n64, pms, amp(with digital audio, thanks Gman for getting me started), usb-PD, and lcd driver to drive a 5 inch screen(thanks to all who helped make the PMS and UAMP open source). I plan on using switch buttons for volume power, classic n64 controls, switch joystick, DS dpad, and custom printed z, L, R buttons. For batteries I plan on using two 18650's. So far I've done a rough sketch of what I want the case to look like, the case has always been the part where I've stopped so I decided to start with that as I can to the circuitry. I ordered a test board of the n64 components and am currently waiting to get the board to see what I need to tweak before I start doing pcb design. No name yet, I'm not creative enough for that.
