what tool do i get to trim the motherboard this is my first project so it will take a while to complete

Those floating PCBs are just asking for shorts..............

For trimming the Wii we use rotary cutting tools, like a Dremel with a diamond cutting wheel.

for a first project its looking pretty good and I am happy. Around this weekend there will be an update but about the gamecube i am thinking about getting led lights to make it look cool the gc shell i will be using is a 101

I am working on something similar like this, but I will also integrate a NX Switch dock inside it.

I mean, we have a lot of space inside it anyways.

Look at this bracket to hold the Wii USB that allows you to use the memory card slot as an USB port:

I will also attach the STL in case you wish to use this design, the screw in the air is to hold the wii board in the orientation I plan to use.

You might need to cut the GC case screw holder a bit as there is one that is taller.

Also, this mount uses the original gamecube screws.

Is this your first console?

I finally finished my first portable, I didn’t buy anything else apart from the wii and the screen

So maybe I can help you with ideas to obtain some components or improve some features

The USB fits right in the slot of the mem card shell, so once I get the job done on the gamecube case done I am just planning to put some hot glue to keep it inside and call it a day.
