idk if i'm missing something but i can't get the ps2 to power on 5v, i read on the trimming guide that you don't need custom regulators if you're doing the standard trim, i already wired the reset BUTTON and AV i know i need to wire something to the regulator but idk what, i need some help

You can't run PS2 on 5v

If you're gonna use the battery, 2 pieces of 18650 battery wired in series which would then be 7.4v could then power the PS2

oh ok,got it, so everything is wired correctly? and it only needs the 2 18650 batteries?

You will definitely also need voltage regulators and some form of power/battery management system so you don't blow up said 18650s.

I believe Protection Circuit Management(PCM) is enough to protect your batteries

As long as it outputs 7.4v~8.4v, it would be enough to power the PS2
