Hi everyone, I wanted to share my personal project for a portable Wii, which I called SlimWii with the goal of making it as thin as possible "with moderate success." I'd like to hear your thoughts and any recommendations. If anyone is interested in the files, I'd be happy to share them.
DIMENSIONS
Printed circuit board
110 x 30 x 0.6 mm
ASSEMBLY
223 x 114 x 23 mm
FEATURES
- 7" display
- Two 4.2V 10,000 mAh batteries connected in series for a total of 8.4V 10,000 mAh
- Mini560 regulators
- Magnetic connection for battery charging, audio and video output, controller connections for ESP32 (BlueRetro), and native Bluetooth
- Integrated SD card reader
- Buttons and joystick
- 2-in-1 PCB (left and right controllers on the same PCB)
- Generic and original GameCube controller IC
GOALS
- Achieve a total thickness of 19 mm (3/4"). Currently 25 mm (1").
