Question Screens

I'm about to buy a 5 inch backup monitor from ebay for my portable, but before I do I wanted to make sure it'll work fine.

The screen takes composite video and says it takes 6-32V and around 3W. Everything seems to be right, I'm just concerned because I've heard of cases were some composite screens wouldn't work with the n64. Is there any way to judge this before buying?

Not really, you kinda just have to hope and pray. If it doesn't work, you could always use it in another portable

I've only ever had issues with 3 and 4 inch screens. 5" screens are my go-to for N64 and older systems projects because of that, so I would bet you'll be safe.

If not, I think that marks a beginning of crappier components in the 5 inchers and I'm going to have to start buying costlier screens.
