Question RVL-DD info

Hi everyone, noob questions as usual. I'm considering upgrading my Ashida with a RVL-DD, but I can't find informations on the forum due to the short word limit of the search engine.
How does it behave with 4/3 resolution input on a widescreen? It adds black bars on sides or stretches the image? Or maybe is it possible to chose both options with a command?
Is possible to adjust video settings like brightness, contrast, etc, and which are the shortcuts?
Does it only works with progressive mode enabled or it process also intralaced images? I ask it for those pesky PAL games that don't work with progressive scan, in that case it would be a downgrade for me.

You can choose in the game settings from RVLoader if you want to force horizontal stretching or keep the game resolution intact and have black bars.

As of now, you can only change the LCD backlight brightness on the fly with Z+X+Up/Down

480i is supported by implementing line doubling, though of course using progressive patches is preferable when possible
