Question Power idea for my Wii portable?

So im planning to create a wii portable through the use of a portable dvd player but I need to ask


I've got a powerbank and a USB-C PD Trigger Board where abouts should i solder the trigger board sorry if this is a dumb question im new to all of this
 
I think you have to give a bit more information so anyone can help you. Like what parts are you using and what you plan exactly on doing

planning on doing a thing like this https://www.instructables.com/Build-a-Low-cost-Portable-Wii-Laptop/ (difference is im keeping the disc drive and not building a sensor bar into the system)

I was planning on powering the console through the powerbank with the trigger board plugged in while also being soldered to the console in order for it to play portably but im not sure if thats exactly right so i thought id ask this forum

The trigger board? The front faceplate buttons are soldered to the board, it isn't a separate board like in other consoles such as the Wii U or the PS3. The LEDs for the faceplate are the only thing separate from the board that detaches with the faceplate. Also, I'm not sure if you'll be able to pull 12 V through that power bank (assuming you leave the board whole as was done in the instructable).
