How would you wire a battery directly to a MircoUSB female

Hi, I have a question.,

I have a battery, a Micro USB cable, and a Female USB connector. How would I Hook the USB cable ( or just wires in general) from the battery leads to the MICRO USB female on the board for power. If I have to remove the Micro USB from the board that is fine. Any help will be appreciated =) Thanks.

You can't wire the battery directly, you need a charging circuit.

TLDR: If you hookup voltage directly to lithium batteries, bad things will probably happen.
