Worklog [DIY] Mod fan speed regulator for PS5 PS4 and PS3

Hi all,
this is a tiny project to cool down easily every playstation.
Cost around 15€ (aliexpress)

7cm long size

You need:
- 1 PCB 2x8cm
- resistors 1K and 100 ohm
- 1 capacitor 100nF
- 1 potentiometer 100K
- JST connectors
- wires red black and green 28 AWG
- ne555 (dip8)
- 2 diodes 1N4148

Update of the Fan Speed Regulator just for PS5 with the specific JST connector of the PS5 (slim, pro and fat: it's the same connector)
I have added a switch to stop the boost PWM because at the difference of the PS4, the 12V rail is always ON even if the ps5 is shutdown.
So the switch shutdown not the 12V rail but change the PWM route: the first route is our boost PWM and the second it's the PS5 PWM.
When the PS5 is OFF the PWM is 0v.
I have discovered a very interessting thing ! The PS5 PWM has 3 settings: Off = 0v, ON on the dashboard = 0.150V, in game = 0.5V
I am preparing a new version of the FSR, a ultimate one base on an ESP32, dfplayer, oled, buck and Leds.
In the time of the xbox360 collector we had a music or a jingle of 10sec or so that has been played when the console is ON and OFF
With the PS5 pwm differents stages we can now have the same thing: some short mp3 played when the ps5 is on, off and launching a game
ESP32 is the king for that and we can add oled, dfplayer and even psychedelic ARGB for PS5 !
