Question about the GC+!

Is PortablizeMii required to use it? I want to still be able to use the disc drive in my Wii portable but, I would not be able to keep the disc drive if PortablizeMii is required for the GC+!

No, it's not required, you can use it just like a standard GC controller

Where do you actually put the controllerConfig.dol file on the USB drive?

In the apps folder. It may need to be in a folder inside the apps folder, but I'm not sure.

1. Create a folder inside of the "apps" folder. Name it "Controller Config" or something.
2. Put controllerconfig.dol inside of folder.
3. Rename .dol file to boot.dol

No, since the GC+ works just like a gamecube controller, you would need to be able to hook a gamecube controller up to a wii remote first.

Just be aware that would translate the GC inputs into Wii Classic Controller format.
