I've been working on a project for a little bit now that I wanted to show off and remembered the bitbuilt forums! The xperia play is an old gaming phone that runs android 2.3. It has a discord dedicated to archiving its games and I've been having fun playing on it. I wanted to look into a tv...
Ever since I bought a Famicom, I've wanted an adapter to play my NES carts on it. Over on Discord, @YveltalGriffin sent me a link for one on AliExpress, which I promptly picked up and immediately began designing a shell for the bare-bones adapter.
It's held together with 4 small screws of...
Hello, I'm 13 and never used 3d printing software. I'm looking for something free and accurate for my Wii Portable I know it's an ever changing world in 3d printing so l just had to ask which ones you guys would recommend.
Hi there, I'm trying to figure out how expensive it would be to make the shell of my wii portable.
My local library offers 3d printing services however they don't give an estimate for the price if you give them the dimensions.
They do it by weight in grams. Although I don't know anything about...
It's possible and not too terribly difficult to add multi color designs to cases or other 3D prints. This guide shows how this is done using Fusion 360 and Cura, but other modeling and slicing programs should have similar enough features to allow this.
Special thanks to @nobble for getting me...
So, I don't have access to a 3D Printer in my house, and there's nowhere to really get things 3D Printed locally, so I was wondering if there were any services online where I could send files to somebody and have them printed and shipped to me? Thanks.

After a successful test run, I'm pleased to announce that I am starting a service for 3D printing. One of the problems for beginners is while they want a quality portable, they lack skills to frakencase, 3D design or access to a 3d printer. After talking with some other staff members, I've...
I've been selling these mini keyboards in the hopes that people would find cool uses for them.
Luke went and did, and I have to say that I'm really impressed with his project so far.
For those of you who have 3D printers, I went ahead and took some scans of the keyboard faceplate.
I generated...

I'm almost finished up with my first portable, and I am really wanting to get into 3D design so that I can start creating my own unique cases and other things.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend the software they use, the price, and the learning curve of the software. It seems that...
