Make sure you are using NTSC versions of games, PAL copies are very hit-and-miss with forcing progressive.

The games you are having trouble with. Some GC games don't natively support progressive scan so forcing it is the only way.

Make sure you press B on the game in RVLoader enable enable progressive mode.
