Uh, every single one of those solder joints except for the one one ground is certainly a short. You solder joints need to be much smaller, that blob of solder underneath the orange component is the biggest problem right now.

The trigger design I used in the Louii/Waker does work well, though I'd reccomend keeping it simpler if you can. I had to design it weirdly because of how little space I had with the buttons, and the downside to having super long triggers is that they are very loud.

Try a different input source and see if the lines still appear. If they do, then it's the screen. If they don't appear, then something is up with your Wii.

Just want to add that the grey squishy tacts are very much inferior to the orange ones, so you'd probably be better off with these.

Regarding keeping BT data wires in place, a dab of hot glue on the two wires is a good idea to keep them from moving. Don't put the hot glue over the solder joint, put it up a bit higher so that you can easily tell if the joint gets knocked loose again. Don't know if I can help much with your...
