I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but generally things on boards are powered in parallel, not series. 14.8v is a much higher voltage than just just about any portable Wii system would need.

The 3.3v pad is still intact, it's the output pin that got burned off, which isn't an issue. I'd try soldering it back on and see if you can measure 3.3v out of the output leg.

You can still use composite or component video, but VGA is no longer possible. If you want to use component, then you'll need to rerun the installer and choose not to enable wifi.

Have you shorted the mode pin to 3.3v? You need to do that to enable VGA. Also I'm noticing a LOT of excess stripping on your video lines, especially the sync lines. Definitely cut back on that, you don't want any extra wire exposed past the point where solder is applied.

That's basically the exact issue I've been having. Mine don't seem to act up at a certain storage mark, but I'll see if that storage spot is a consistent barrier for me as well.
