LDO is a pain to get off. Ramp up your heat to 420 (wiid), try for several minutes, and if that won't work then bump it up to 450. Make sure your flow is at least moderate and that you are using the largest nozzle so that the heat doesn't break the hot air station.

I think that's a cool idea, but do you have any experience with molding large objects? From what I've heard and seen, it's no easy feat, but if you have experience with that sort of thing then I'd say go for it.

The new design looks pretty neat! I'd be concerned about the fan vent though, as while you do have contact in 8 places, I don't think there's enough overlap for the rest of the case for that too be stable or maybe even print properly.

For wire gauge, I'd recommend 34 or 38 gauge as opposed to 32 for easier via wiring. 22 gauge is the thickest wire you'll ever need, so I'd get some of that. I'd also recommend 30 gauge wrapping wire for when you need to wire something in between those two thicknesses.

The hack works with any GameCube controller, I've used the beta with a normal GCC. GC+ 2.0 may bring additional functionality to the table if Aurelio or others take the time to develop it, but any controller will work.

If you look up the part number for it on Digikey or a similar website, there's often a link in there to download CAD models on a site called Ultra Librarian. You can often find Eagle footprints premade there.
