    Worklog PS2Go

I'd recommend twisting each of your video signals with a magnet wire connected to ground. A drill works really well for this, the tighter it is the more protected your signal. Individual magnet wire stands if that length are going to pick up interference really easily.

    Worklog Baby's First Portable (Wiimosa)

Hey there! It looks like you've got a pretty good grasp of everything so far, I've got just a couple of reccomendations. First, your 6 layer board is excellent for practicing things like the U10 relocation and wiring to Wii vias, but I'd reccomend using a 4 layer board for your actual build...

    The 2DC - Completed

Hold up The REAL Gman wouldn't use hot glue in a portable. I don't know who this faker is, but aside from this he did a pretty good job of pulling off a successful, sexy Gman thing.

    Worklog g-wii build

Looks like you've got one is the Wii revisions with solder mask over most of the vias. Did you scratch the mask off before soldering to the via?

    Worklog My First Portable Wii

Not sure how much it'll help, but don't power the preamp and just grab L and R from before the preamp.

    Solved Trimmed Wii Black Screen

It sounds to me like Wifi is probably the issue, if you're getting a black screen consistently and things are heating up. I'd double check that all your connections to the wifi module/board are solid, try tugging on the wires a bit to see if anything pops loose easier than it should. I...

    Solved Trimmed Wii Black Screen

Can't quite see how you have video wired up, but do you have a ground connection between your screen and the Wii?

    Question DS lite pcb

Judging by the battery being connected with magnet wire, and also everything else in that image I'm going to guess it doesn't work.

Question Is it possible to slim a wiiu mainboard?

I'd reccomend looking through the guide hub for all of our Wii related information. You can absolutely build smaller Wiis rather than a full portable, it's a fairly common project. Also, if you have something to add to a previous post of yours, go ahead and just edit it into your previous post...

Worklog First Wii Portable (unnamed so far)

Smoke is never good, I really doubt anything you could do with video wiring could cause it. Take some high quality pictures of the front and back of your board, that always gives us something to go off of. Also, when you say solder joint on the button, what button are you talking about? The...

Worklog Wiimote emulation through GC controller

At this point I'm I'm pretty sure I've used the hack more than anyone, and I'm going to have to disagree with BocuD on this one. Half the games I try do not work at all. Some games corrupt all save data on the Wii. NSMBW will work for a little while, but often stops working randomly. The...

Discussion Ideas, questions, etc, Post em here!

Disc drives are bad. -Use up a LOT of power -Are massive -Provide no benefits over USB loading We don't support disc drives on trimmed Wiis and never will, so you will need to switch to USB loading.

Model [OLD DO NOT USE THESE] Louii CAD Files

PAM8803 is a decent enough amp, the only downside is that it doesn't support headphones. For the LED board, you could just buy a through-hole LED and glue it in place, or you could order a custom board. I've got a couple extra LED boards that fit nicely in the Louii case, so if you want to buy...

Model [OLD DO NOT USE THESE] Louii CAD Files

I think the only major thing missing from the BOM is the audio amp because I don't have one that supports headphones, is easy to wire up, and can actually be bought from somewhere right now. Aside from that though, you would obviously need tools and materials like wire and glue, but as far as...
