    Worklog Retro Lite CM5

My 5.5" MIPI display arrived and I'm looking forward to getting it working soon. The bezel was actually symmetrical which is great news - this finally means I can have a fully touch integrated display now and a fully laminated display without messing around trying to do it myself with LOCA gel...

    Worklog Retro Lite CM5

That may work (similar to a GC controller?), otherwise I am thinking of using some dual tact buttons similar to how it's done in portables. I think that would suffice too! There's nothing worse than using the LR as a half press and the LT triggers for a full press...

    Worklog Retro Lite CM5

Hi guys, I thought I'd start a new worklog to share progress updates on the Retro Lite CM5! (however slow they may be!). I've decided that I want to re-design the Retro Lite PCB from the ground up to support the up and coming RK3588s compute module. With the new release of the Radxa CM5 coming...

    Worklog N64-AIO

Please don't double post - it is against forum rules. Also please dont bump 2 year old threads - if Gman wanted to open source this project he would have done so.

    RetroLite Station

Hi all, I've finally finished my docking station for the Retro Lite CM4! I've opened sourced all of the STL files + code, and the PCBs + BOMs are to come later once I make a few fixes to the hardware design. https://github.com/StonedEdge/Retro-Lite-CM4-Dock Introducing the RetroLite Station...

Anyone know how to connect an audio amp to a raspberry pi zero?

“Just use PWM” is far from contributing anything useful to the OP. How about providing a link to an analog audio amplifier? A link to a guide to getting PWM out of the Pi Zero, something like this: https://learn.adafruit.com/adding-basic-audio-ouput-to-raspberry-pi-zero/pi-zero-pwm-audio How...

Anyone know how to connect an audio amp to a raspberry pi zero?

Yeah, please stop posting for the sake of posting. What’s worse is that you may mislead people into damaging their hardware. Do your research and only then post on the forums. “Just do it” doesn’t count as advice either FYI. Final warning.

Worklog [2023 Contest Entry] Playskool64 (name pending)

Glad to see you’re keeping the old modding spirit alive! Unfortunately with the proliferation of kits and the ease of the builds, a lot of people now seem to be wanting to make the same thing. As a result, a lot of ingenuity/creativity has been lost, but there are still a select few who want to...

Worklog Retro Lite CM4 - A StonedEdge and Dmcke5 collaboration

Hi all, Life got a bit busy recently so I haven't been able to update as frequently as I would like, but the docking station is almost complete now after several bugs were squashed with the serial input routine handler loop! I'd say I'm about 60% of the way there. A simple button toggles all...

    Worklog Some PS2 Project

Is there any game issues you experience when undervolting? Iirc the PS2 struggled with some scenes even at base voltage, I wonder if that would impact any of the games, make them stutter or lag, etc? Will be interesting to see a few more games tested! Nevertheless the improvement in power...

Yeah there is no resource really, the first ones were hand made from 3rd party switch lite screen protectors and painted, but I ended up buying samples from Retro Game Repair Shop (RGRS) for the final ones who had them custom made based on the specifications we provided.

    WiiSPii Emerald Green

Closed up another WiiSPii I had lying around for 3 years yesterday. After some issues with the analog triggers I’ve managed to flash them properly thanks to Aurelio straight from the GC configurator. Case cost me my left nut from PCBway but it is dyed acrylic. I opted for shielded wire this...

Retro Lite CM4 Shadowbox (Art Piece)

I finally finished my Retro Lite CM4 shadowbox! I always liked the concept of displaying exploded game consoles on the walls as art. I think a vertical explosion would have looked way cooler but obviously that’s impossible to do thanks to gravity. I had too many of these lying around and people...
