    Discussion Well. RIP.

You shorted some voltage pins and with ground. try using less solder or get a better iron. If possible use SolderGrease/Flux because that shit look bad! Best thing to do now is clean those pins and just try to boot the wii with no connections solderd! if the unit refuses to boot, clean again, if...

I had some ffc connectors for the DVD side of the modchip which I used for testing and tought I could use it for this setup as well. It's handy because now I don't have to slice up a Ffc cable which is a pain in the ass to be honest. The pins are grouped vertically from top to bottom. 1 to 7, 9...

Question Calling all noobs (noob question thread)

I remember using the Panasonic batteries in my first portable and ever since... I might be the first one to ever use them on Modretro if I remember correctly. They are dirt cheap for what they provide in batterylife! Really wouldn’t recommend any other battery for portables. I came by them...

But you can't get a better native resolution than the Cube as the AVE on the Wii displays a lesser quality image. So Cube will always be better even when using GC video as it doesn't upscale!

Forcing component for GC games with the Wii version... What can we expect? Is the quality same as component GC or the less quality Wii type? If I recall correctly, the Wii outputs a lesser quality component signal when using GC games, right?

This is amazing! Are you planning on selling these if people ship their Wii's to you so you can swap the CPU, GPU and NAND? That would be amazing! You should have a talk with Mega about incorparating The GC video for Wii board! Looks really nice! Keep up the good work!
