You need to wire SCW and SDW on the pms to the wii to enable the configurable features in rvloader. Make sure you are updated to the latest pms firmware as I'm not sure when you ordered this but there was an update on the fan control last year.

These pads were deleted from the current PMS2 and PMSLite because they were only for supporting the older STUSB4500 IC which hasn't been used for quite some time. It is fine if you leave the SD and SC wires on the usb-c board disconnected.

well said! Update for y'all. I got an email from the fab today they sent a picture of the GC+ samples assembled. They look great and they are shipping them to me now. Then after they arrive, I'll test them, and then they will begin assembling the rest of the batch. No word on the PMS-PD yet...

Did you change the settings in RVLoader to addressable LED?

It's advised to test things as you go, and not just test if it works after everything is wired. When you test after soldering each wire, it makes it easier to troubleshoot when it is not working, because it will usually be the last wire you had soldered.

If you havent trimmed deeply into the motherboard, it's possible the traces for these signals were not cut. Give it a try if you want. It wont damage anything if you turn it on with it missing a wire, it just wont turn on.

Please provide pictures of the wiring. and also the RVLoader LED settings.

This symptom is generally fixed by shielding the MC wire with ground. Twisting it tightly with ground also works.

The pmslite will stay on when it fails to boot so it can give you the opportunity to upload the firmware again incase a firmware upload is corrupted. There could be an issue with your wiring on SD, SC, or Sdw and SCw, an issue here could cause a bad boot.

Before you do that try to reset the gc+ analog stick configuration by holding X+Y+A while you turn on the wii.
