    Worklog N64-AIO

What a day it's been. I assembled the AIO and not even five minutes after building it I accidentally fried the RCP (didn't see tiny solder ball shorting the cartridge ffc and then accidentally put the cartridge in the wrong way, guess it didn't like that). It's not the easiest to assemble with...

    FS: wii micro (as is)

This is a Wii micro I made quite a bit ago. It's functional besides having a weird glitch where if you use component cable after 20 minutes or so the video bugs out. Never figured out why, probably need to swap the wii motherboard. Never had any issues on composite video (kept it playing for...

    Question USB-C PD charging board

Looks like a decent board. It'll work just fine with the rvlpms just make sure you set the configuration to 12V maximum.

    Worklog N64-AIO

The goal of the rambus channel layout is to meet a 50 ohm impedance. According to some simple calculations mine is a bit more than that actually. It's determined by trace thickness, height, and distance between parallel traces but their could be many more sophisticated factors. But to answer...

Different PS2 slim models; which to use for an easy trimming?

I would recommend only the 79000 to be used with the guide. The revisions are very different and the trim can not be repeated on the other boards.

    Worklog N64SP take2

Made a PIF Breakout board with all the minimum required components to make trimming/debugging easier not having to guess if the chunk of board you trimmed off has all the components/connections. (note all the 0603 resistors I tacked on to the PIF). The pads are actually 0603 pads but I used 0402...

Different PS2 slim models; which to use for an easy trimming?

The trimming guide is only for the 79000 series, correct. The PS2 90000 series might be OK for portables but you can trim it the same.

USB C PCB soft blinking light

I dont see anything from what I can tell. If you want you are welcome to send them to me and I'll re rest them and see if there is infact an issue with the device itself (just the pcbs, not the whole gboy).

USB C PCB soft blinking light

The ground wire is routed over the led resistors, maybe try cleaning that up. In general the wires should not be routed directly over components there should atleast be a gap. So the wires on the usbc board could be tilted up a bit to be sure they arent shorting (which is why the solder on the...

USB C PCB soft blinking light

This doesnt present confidence. All the wires have bit too much copper exposed after the joints. It's tricky managing it with the wrapping wire since it melts easily but it could be better. Then there is solder on the SDA wire where you connect the ground wire, not great. Is that residue or...
