    Ashida Wii Portable

There's diagrams on the 4layertech website for each of the boards. The rest of the info you can find in the 'Definitive Wii trimming guide' and the GBoy build manual is also a good resource.

Yes, and this is not the correct thread to ask.

Would a switch gc controller have all the parts necessary for the ashida’s controller or would I need a real gc controller?

I believe the Switch controller joystick have a press click on them, meaning they will be taller than original joysticks and won't fit.

No, you only need U10 and the voltage lines.

GC Micro A la Wesk -- with HDMI and internal wavebird receiver.

I don't believe Aurelio has patched anything to do with the Wavebirds yet.

How to stop procrastinating on doing a build

Start by doing the absolute minimum and trim a Wii and make sure it boots. From there you can decide how much further you want to go.

The Wavebird is known to have disconnects if you haven't relocated the MX.

A NAND flex board is a much easier way to do the relocation but I will say, if you're having trouble cleaning your current setup I don't think the relocation is going to be any easier for you.

Those NAND legs are most certainly shorted. In order to clean that up flood the area in flux and apply more solder to the legs, then use wick to clean it up.

Question Questions during my Boogii Ashida build

You can use a normal tact for the Z's if you need, there's a support built into the case that stops it from moving anyway.

Question New Switch N64 controller on Wii

If you want to keep it wireless then you'll likely need to Frankenstein a wiimote into the controller. If you are happy to have it wired you could customise the controller with a GC+ and have it viewed by the system as a GC controller. Either way there's a bit of modding and soldering involved.

    Question Ashida Troubleshoot/Worklog

It defaulting back to AV is not normal, that driver board may be a little buggy. Maybe wire the AV switch to the left Z button as that isn't currently used by RVLoader.

    Question Ashida Troubleshoot/Worklog

You'll need to connect the button board to the screen driver and set the input to VGA, it should then always boot on the VGA input.

    Worklog The Steamii

All your boards look really quite messy, with random residue on all the boards and a ton of cold solder joints. As much as you don't want to I'd suggest pulling everything out, cleaning it up and re-soldering with clean joints. The colour issue with Direct Drive looks like something I've...
