    Worklog Switch-alike Portable

Hey guys, got it working now. The fault was both the voltage and the 3.3v for the video. It now runs at 1.14v on the 1.15v line and at 0.98v on the 1v line. Hopefully this will not decrease any further ._. Thank you for your help <3 Btw: Can you tell me why the screen has such a dislocated image?

Yes, they are from the running Wii. Without the Wii attached the voltages are almost optimal. I was just wondering if I have to adjust the regulators so that under load they'd output the required voltages. If only the PowerMii would be available :D (don't worry Aurelio, I will wait ;) )

That might do the trick. I will look into this later today (hopefully) ;) I just wanted to add my voltages, because they are a bit lower than they need to... 3.3v runs at 3.29v (I think thats ok ;) ) 1.15v runs at 1.06v 1v runs at 0.91v I was using the resistors that were advised in the guide...

Unfortunately the setup doesn't seem to work... :/ All I get is this white line on the screen. Will look into this at some other time though.

    Discussion WiiHUD PowerMii interest check

Man Aurelio... You are awesome. I wasn't sure about the price though... But it is well worth it. I put my name on the list ;)

I was really thinking about that. But it would be too much effort for this feature as I was planning to just play Gamecube games with it. But I like challenges. Maybe in another portable ;)

Ah, thank you for your post. I will definitely add screw posts in the model. This is just an early work in progress... The Glas is not exactly acrylic, it's makrolon. I wanted to use a custom glass protector like the tempered glass for smartphones. But this is rather difficult :D (I could not...

Actually the controller-parts will not be detachable. I will (probably) glue them together. It is just for the looks and the different color. Still not sure what pins I have to solder to the Wii2HDMI adapter... Pretty sure it uses Composite, but I have to investigate which power source I have...

    Worklog Switch-alike Portable

I have started a new project :) Not sure when it will be finished though... I have many more things to do (getting married and all :D ). But I wanted to share my thoughts and progress so far: The Case will (except for its thickness) look similar to the switch. I will design it from scratch and...

Guide The definitive Wii trimming guide is live!

Yes, I know that. But I tried it and it works for me. The only bad thing is the ratio... It is not 16:9 and not 4:3 either. Something in between these two >.< Btw: What is BBVideo? o.O

Guide The definitive Wii trimming guide is live!

I was going to use a Wii2HDMI converter... (Away from the general question to use this one) would you say it makes a difference if I keep the four ISN 220 6V? Also I was planning to wire the 5v directly to the USB port and the rumble. I will remove the IIZ 220 10v then. Thank you for your reply.

Guide The definitive Wii trimming guide is live!

Good evening guys, I got one more question: The capacitors on the right side of the trimmed board (first picture of the first post) are there for a reason I bet. But can I remove them when I solder Video and Audio directly to the chip? And do I need the upmost capacitor anyways? (IIZ 220 10v)...

Question Calling all noobs (noob question thread)

Hey guys, I got a problem with my screen and adapter. This may just be because it is designed for a raspberry pi, but I was believing that HDMI in this configuration just has to work o.O . I got the Wii2HDMI Adapter from Amazon and a relatively cheap 800x480 screen with HDMI from ebay...

Thank you for the quick answer. I ordered a Wii yesterday and will hopefully start a new project :) (is there any guide for the "further beyond trim" shockslayer made? Or am I just blind o.O?)

Guide The definitive Wii trimming guide is live!

This might be a stupid question to you, but just to make it clear... I only need three voltages (1.0v, 1.15v and 3.3v) for the Wii to run gamecube games? For the sound I would have to use my own amp in order to avoid the 12V source? Btw: Awesome work from you guys. Really. I was following most...
